Hello! So one thing I realize with social media is that it can cause one to pick up certain habits whether good or bad. One of the things it can do is make one shop and although I’ve fallen for that in the past, I can now say that I am more intentional with what I buy or I try to buy. Although this is the case, a few months ago, a lot of bloggers were shopping at second hand stores, vintage/thrift buys and it reminded me of the one time I’d done same and purchased some pieces I’d never worn like this blouse. It reminded me to style this blouse and I like how it turned out. I encourage you to look for some trendy and classic pieces at these types of stores if you’re open to that before spending a lot on certain items.
About this look, I incorporated the vintage blouse I’d had in my closet and paired it with these leather shorts. Leather is an ongoing trend I’m loving in skirts, dresses, leggings, shorts and really everything. I added the slouchy leather boots as the shorts a bit short and the weather was still cool hence the blazer. Are you loving leather or second hand type shops?
Also, I started a new segment on the blog where I share my weekly favorite finds from beauty, to baby, to household and everything in between at different price points. I will incorporate it with the weekly blog post. This week is an inexpensive drugstore lipgloss I sometimes use while at work and love it.
