Wrap Dresses: A flattering dress style

Hello! hope your weekend went well. We celebrated one of my kids bdays and I almost let the fact that the air conditioner was not working well affect the time I had but had to remind myself that the kids were still having fun and that was the most important thing.

Today I wanted to share how I styled this floral wrap dress.  I read some where that wrap dresses are universally flattering and I have to agree.  When in doubt about which style of dress to go for, try a wrap dress.

I simply followed the blue accents and added a blue bag and blue heels.  This print is floral, and the dress is light which I believe would be perfect for summers, vacations and layered in cooler weather.  Hope you like it.

Below is a quote from a designer who does wrap dresses well.

The wrap dress is the most traditional form of dressing: It’s like a robe, it’s like a kimono, it’s like a toga. It doesn’t have buttons or zippers. What made it different was that it was jersey; therefore, it was close to the body and it was a print.
